During the examination of The Jutta Arctic photographic documentation of all phases of its life cycle was made. (AK)

Exploration of smaller, overgrown rivers in the Park is a real challenge. (MR)

The Centre for Environmental Education at the Słupiańska Bay on Lake Wigry is visited mainly by junior high school and high school students. They are most interested in the examination of invertebrate macrofauna community in Lake Wigry. (WM)

Many practical activities are conducted in the field. The photo shows measurements of the pine trunk diameter. (WM)

Cooperation with teachers within ecological education has different forms, one of them are workshops organized by the Park. (EP)

The material collected during field activities is analysed with insight at the Centre for Environmental Education laboratory. (EP)

The lecture hall in the Museum of Lake Wigry can seat numerous groups of listeners. (MA)

During lessons at the Museum of Lake Wigry students examine physical and chemical properties of the lake’s water. (WMA)

“Anybody can do that” –during pottery workshops participants learn how to use potter’s wheel. (KŁ)

During wood carving workshop wooden birds are made. (KŁ)

Educational activities at the Museum of Lake Wigry are conducted in the reconstructed old vivarium. (WMA)

In 2005 the exhibition in the headquarters of the Park has been thoroughly modernized. (JBO)

The exhibition “History and Traditions of Fishing on Lake Wigry” was prepared in the Park’s fishing station in Czerwony Folwark.  (JBO)

Learning through experience brings excellent results. An encounter “face to face” with a leech or a gammarus leaves unforgettable
