Regional cuisine
Wandering around the park you can visit one of
agri-tourist farms offering traditional, regional food. Such form of
catering is available for both ogranised groups and individual tourists
after an earlier arrangement – a day in advance.

Mrs. Zofia’s cuisine is both tasty and healthy. All products she
uses come from her own farm. Her chicken broth is delicious. White
cheeses are her specialty. During and after the season she feeds groups
of schoolchildren. The farm is recommended by Wigry National Park. In
2004 Mrs. Zofia was awarded in a contest Our Culinary Heritage for her
smoked vendace.
The canteen can seat 40 people.

Mrs. Halina Żukowska invites individual tourists for lunches, tasty soups, traditionally prepared potatoes and pierogi.

Mrs. Kolenkiewicz serves the most excellent Kartacze, awarded on a
nationwide contest for a regional dish. Her cheese pancakes are also
delicious.
Mrs. Jadwiga can receive up to 20 people at once.

The canteen belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Cichocki is situated in Maćkowa
Ruda by the Czarna Hańcza river. It is willingly visited by both
tourists and canoeists who are always satisfied with Mrs.
Barbara’s cuisine – tasty and abundant. Apart from regional
dishes, her specialty is a cheese cake.
The canteen can seat up to 25 people.
